Certain at-risk groups are disproportionately affected by cancers. One of our initial targets will be prostate cancer.
Black men have a much greater incidence of prostate cancer than the general population. In the last 30 years this number has increased from 62% to 70% today, and we want to pay particular attention to why this is occurring.
We will work to develop assets to treat the disease, while at the same time considering social determinants and the etiology of prostate cancer.
